She was recommended to us by our host when we wanted to end this year's Good Day with a nice dinner. By the way, this wine festival is recommended to anyone who comes to the area randomly in the early summer. At about 20km, the road is closed by the vineyards and you can walk or walk from wine village to wine village and eat and drink everywhere or hear wind music. A happy folk festival for all generations. Ambience Cleanliness We only crossed the guest room for a short time, as this hot day was clearly indicated beer garden. To the rear, the terrain opens into a wide courtyard in which tables and chairs are loosely arranged. A lateral barn protects against wind and large trees donate shade. In the adjacent garden children can play, and there is no car traffic here anyway. A wonderful oasis for lukewarm summer evenings. Cleanliness was fine enough, we didn't visit the toilets. Operation The young ladies from the service were on the go and looked after the crowds. Despite the great urge, everything went down in order and there was no longer a waiting period. Apparently, people had been cared for to have grown up. Food Drinking The menu is clear and offers essentially classic cold and warm vasper dishes. In the evening you also get buzzles, sausages and carvings. We decided to: Schnitzel with potato salad Schaufle with potato salad Hausmacher cheese with peasant bread To this I drank a quarter dry white burgundy from the area. If you are confined to a few not so complicated dishes, you will also be given days with great urge to the matter Lord. We didn't have to wait long to be served. Schnitzel and Schaufle were solid, successful home cooking and the added potato salad tasted like mothers. Particularly noteworthy is the self-baked fresh peasant bread that, despite well-sized portions, we still sprinkle completely with the roast sauce. By the way, the Pinot Blanc fits perfectly with this kitchen: simple and honest. A spontaneous evening in an idyllic ambience with a strong home cooking. Friendly flash operation and a good value for money make up the crown. In any case, an address to return easily if you are travelling in the area.
As always we sat very nice on the farm and ate very well. We like to come back.
A guest house that is highly recommended, genuine Badish potato salad with tasty booze.
Sunday afternoon, we often come back hungry from a trip.Especially in rural areas, most restaurants have closed. This is different here. By chance, after a small unsuccessful Odyssey through Müllheim, we found in the crown thanks to Google. In fact, here there are also warm food in the afternoon.Okay, the map is clear and perhaps not necessarily suitable for vegetarians. But we have tasted carvings, potato salads and field salad very, very well. The service was, as well as the necessary (and annoying) Corona reviews, perfectWe are already looking forward to the warm season to eat in the garden cozy
Very good food and service. Price/performance as expected. Gasthaus Krone is highly recommended. We'll be back.
