Known for good home kitchen, famous for legendary Schnitzel. This affects both taste and size. The carvings, and of course also other delicacies such as beef steaks, potato salad, roasted dishes and other dishes, such as preparation of very good housewives, are available in the restaurant on five days a week. The Schnitzel was famous and famous, but especially since the 1950s from the adjacent hall. Concerts took place here, attracting a large number of viewers from the nearby and distant surroundings. GDR stars like Stern Combo Meißen, Renft, Lift, Electra, Klosterbüder and Gipsy played the hall to concerts as they no longer exist today. At this time until 1989 the events lasted from 19 to 24 hours. 5 hours of music with regular breaks, dance, beer, schnitzel and sometimes also a little longer. God Amor poured his phallic filling horn more often over the guests. Or with the famous arrows directed to the heart of the party folk. There are still children and children who have taken their origin in the Amorsaal. Well, that's a little far from here, but the night after the Amor room it happened again and again: whether the name of the location comes? I don't know, it's conceivable. Today, stories in which a milk ramp standing near the inn had played an important role are still brought together. I don't want to say that, let everyone do their own thoughts. I am not a child of the Amorsaal, nor a father of fun playing time. But I was there at many concerts, even after 1990. Beer and schnitzel, sweating bodies, smiling waiters, loud and good music. Gänsehaut in the middle and Kater afterwards. Amorsaal was cult and is still. Concerts have become a little less. Former GDR bands are barely available for age reasons, and the corresponding audience is no longer available. The audience's preferences have changed. Today it is called tribute to Rammstein or Forever Young Festival when the music plays in the Mor. Finally, the restaurant continues to be excellent, as with the large carvings, after a secret family recipe. May the Amorsaal last for a long time and always find a great handful of music lovers. Lovers of good home kitchen, of course.
Here you can eat delicious bourgeois and the prices are also okay. Remarkable are the legendary Amorsaalschnitzel and Beefs that nobody else gets;o)... The equipment is simple and rustic. For smaller companies there is a separate room where you can celebrate.
