Nice location, delicious food. Especially the Kaiserschmarn and the Schnitzel Wiener-Art are really good. He drinks Ayinger. There is also a beer garden and a covered terrace heated in autumn. Only the tracks next to them blur the overall picture a little. Service was friendly and affordable anyway! We often had our fun there.
The thickness of Sophie is a rustic restaurant with small beer garden in Englschalking. Here you can eat delicious and plentiful for moderate prices. As I do not only know, it is recommended to make a reservation in any case. The menu offers both Bavarian classics and refined delicacies from other regions. The weekly card also offers seasonal dishes. Little tip from me: Whatever they do from pumpkin, try it! It can only taste delicious, no matter how the combination sounds. ( Unless you hate pumpkin, maybe not better) And it is important, gaaaaan: eat the Kaiserschmarrn! I didn't find a better Kaiserschmarrn. He's really a revelation. Even my mother, her sign of passion for flour feeding, could not leave her fingers and still keeps fading. The share is quite powerful, so it is best to calculate and/or share it with several people. In the latter case, however, there can be dissatisfaction in the table.
This cozy host house in Engelschalking with delicious cuisine with a small attached beer garden offers the best food in a rustic ambience. In the surrounding area of Munich, the “thick Sophie” has long since become an institution and popular meeting place for the media company from the nearby Unterföhring
Directly at the S-Bahn station Johanneskirchen der S8 lies the thick Sophie, a rustic place with beautiful beer garden under shaded chestnut trees. I can only underline that Sophie is a “Mediterranean meeting place from the nearby sub-föhring” because we also reserve a table every month to relax after work, although this is not really relaxing in expert discussions: The beer tastes great, but the food is really good. This time I had a turkey carved in the pan roasted with Pommes frit for 10.80€. As you can see on the photo, the Scavenger takes the whole plate and was amazingly pruned but super delicious. The colleagues ordered several Munich white sausages with sweet mustard, the piece for 2.00€, which was served together in a terrine with hot water. The service is always super nice and friendly, even if it has a lot to do. Opening hours: MO–SO: 10:00 to 01:00 CET Warm kitchen: MO–SO: 11:00 to 23:00 CET
