Gutshof Menterschwaige - Muenchen

Were already a few times in the domine, both in the restaurant and in the beer garden. service always very friendly and good eating. but since a few months there is also a pizza oven in the beer garden with a pizza baker from siciilien and the pizza is simply the hammer. thin teig, delicious tomato sauce and toppings just right. that could be the best pizza in the little ones :) just feedback; in the beer garden there are no big water bottles to buy and on some tables standing for hours dirty teller and glasses and were never taken away. does not look very beautiful and attracts many puppies.

For the first time in a few, friends who are native have brought us here to enjoy traditional German food and beer. in a beautiful green environment we were pampered with fabulous service, great eating and great beering, and there was no tourist in sight!

This beautiful beer garden is located in a nature reserve at the ufer of the isar, which flows through the dunes, and is a very popular place to stop at a walk in this opposite direction. there are many hiking trails through the isartal, which are good for hikers, joggers and cyclists (the tretfahrer) who lead past the gutshof. some were crowned in 2016 to deutschland's most beautiful hiking trails (walkerweg). the main building itself – “Gutshof” can be translated as a “main house of a farm” – are considered to be historical and are worth seeing for itself. but we're interested in the beer garden, right? the garden itself is spacious and offers space for over 2000 guests in shaded comfort. there are many things to do for a family, including a lot of children's playgrounds, slide, a climbing wall, a block house, a children's carousel and much more. they serve lion brown - naturally in glasslite scissors - and various dishes, including a series of grilled meat. I had a fried haxe (schweinshaxe) – one of my favourite dishes in the beer garden – that was absolutely excellent, but they also offer fried chicken, spare ribs and other great meats from a smoker. I can recommend the place to anyone who loves nature - and / or beer.

We were here for the high time of a dear friend (hearty happy michi / ricarda!) and enjoyed the inside restaurant with other 80 family members / friends. in the open garden they can bring their own food (or order from the menu) as long as they drink their beer. a fun family place with tasty bbq and beautiful relaxation areas to get the fun / Bavarian family feeling!

We were there on the day of the father and it was a great time. we had a nice walk along the isar and when we came back, we stopped there to eat something. the beer garden was open, so we sat and had a great afternoon. there is a playground for the children and they can relax. great day in any case. eating is typical beer garden dinner but very tasty.
