Al Pino - München

I've been visiting this restaurant for 30 years and it's really the best italian in little. the service is very good and each customer is welcomed by the patronin itself. the atmosphere is warm and elegant and the food is very tasty. my favorites are the...pasta and the tiramisu.

Even though this place is not located in the central or touristy part of Munich it does deserve all the attention and is worth the detour. Located in one of the classy neighborhoods of Solln it was a most pleasant discovery with mostly regulars. The...setting is casual yet elegant with garden for when the weather is warm. The food is of most excellent quality, friendly and professional service plus exiting wine list makes this place highly recommendable!

We were a table of 6, and all started with the antipasto, and I have never had it better in my life! Well balanced: veggie/meat, vinegar/oil, and everything tasted wonderful. It was a good start. The others all had a half portion of the special...pasta of the evening and liked it. I had ravioli with sage put under the grill (perhaps to keep it warm? , which gave it a nice crispy touch very nice. Then my neighbor and I chose sword fish. I was pleased to get two thin slices lightly oiled and pan fried rather than a huge hunk. The lemon sorbet with vodka was the usual We drank the house red and white wine, and both were fine, which impressed my friend who knows his wine. Unfortunately there seemed to be too few waiters. We had to get up and find our wine bottle when we all went dry, and they were never there to do anything special, but that was the only blot on an otherwise lovely evening. Oh, the place is a bit loud. There just aren't enough objects in the room to dampen the boxy interior. Still, I would happily go again. It serves one of the best Italian meals around.

After the warm reception of the host in al pino we were led to a beautiful table. the noble and cozy ambiente has left a very good first impression. we were greeted with a fresh aperitif and then familiarized with the specificities of the day. from a special occasion, we chose a 3-course menu: after fine artichoke salad with fresh truffle and a perfect golden stream to the main course, a kernel-liquid chocolate box rounded off this beautiful evening. super weinbegleitung after recommended by the house. excellent advice by the host and his friendly staff - excellent price/performance. We'll be back soon!

Warm atmosphere, attentive service, all there to let it go well, as an appetizer I have taken a delicious tuna carpaccio with asparagus from schrobbenhausen. as a court I asked for an Auberginen-Parmigiana. unfortunately they had none. I resorted to the vegetarian pizza. disappointment. teig too hard and blah filling. the courts of my colleagues were much better
