The restaurant was not full and despite repeated requests, just because children were there, we had to wait about 2.5 hours!!! for our food and there was something wrong! An absolute no go. Furthermore, each of us four paying families were deceived during the billing. From a bottle of Lambrusco a Primitivo was made, the two same noodle dishes were collected 3x, the same for drinks, etc. We've been to Antica many times since we live here, but they definitely saw us last time. You don't do that, either with regular customers, or with first-time/similar guests. We have the assumption that there is a new tenant, there was unknown staff, but these are, as I said, only suspects. Two chefs stood smoking in the courtyard for over 1 hour, you can now make yourself a picture of it. In itself, you can't stand anything, but it's not everything.
A meeting at a secluded table where one could hardly follow conversations, since the sound scene was rather unpleasantly high... I still wait for a final coffee to wait for service, unfortunately, left to wish...as very strange in that sense, since the spacious restaurant, apart from our table with about eight guests, seemed rather abandoned. At least it can hardly be that due to a childbirth held in the outskirts, the entire staff is used... which was unfortunately the case. Prices are, especially in view of the service, truly inappropriately high.
We have let ourselves be guided by a review in the Süddeutsche Zeitung to visit this restaurant, especially since we don't live too far. The visit is to be considered disappointing, a second time there will not be. I don't know what's supposed to be calabresic about this kitchen, everything was the way to find it with any other Italian. The appetizer Avocado Tartar with Burrata was not to be overwhelmed by infallibility. Grobe avocado cubes, a few tomato cubes, hardly spiced, on it a thick knock burrata, finished. It has nothing to do with kitchen. Pizza and pasta were okay, but not anymore. The wines Lugana and Primitivo did not really taste. The service was ok, though quite hectic. The volume in this restaurant we felt as extremely annoying, a conversation was only difficult.
Unfortunately, I can't report much positive about Antica Osteria. We stayed there under the week in the evening when we came the restaurant near Weitem was not yet full. Nevertheless, it took 15 minutes until someone came to give us the cards. It took another 20 minutes until someone came to pick up the beverage order, then the drinks came very soon. We then ordered a mixed starter plate (cold) to which we had to wait another 30 minutes. Unfortunately, waiting was not worthwhile, because no single product on the plate was of good quality. Grilled eggplants and zucchini, 4 slices of commercial salami, 1 slice of very simple raw ham, caprese with neutral tasting tomatoes and mozarella, artichoke from the glass and very bitter tasting olives. If Convenience, then please buy reasonable products (and, of course, also demand appropriate prices). The pizzas were fine, no more, no less. Good dough, but very favorable products for the coating. In the course of the evening the restaurant was still full, it seems to be popular in the neighborhood and that's okay. But we won't come back, because there's just a lot better place.
Pizza good. Sometimes waiting times as Deliveryando is preferred. Suppliers are only served. Sitting guests have to wait.
