Hokkaido Asia Restaurant - München

After moving here from the south pacific, we found it very hard to find a place with the fresh quality and Asian taste we are used to. We have now found this place. Love this place, been there many times. The food is always fresh and healthy. No MSG. The staff are very friendly and service orientated. Low key, kid friendly place. Proper Asian beer and drinks. We have had many very enjoyable meals here. Highly recommended if you want real sushi/asian food without German influences. High point, the sushi train is brilliant and high quality.

As expats living in Munich-West, we are constantly eating in a variety of different restaurants, both in the city centre but also around the western suburbs (and beyond). We enjoy Asian food, and had seen the Hokkaido Asian Restaurant on a number of occasions as it is reasonably close to where we live, but we had never really paid it much attention until my wife decided to look it up online. She discovered that it offers all-you-can-eat pricing and a really great product offering (three price ranges, depending on time of time of day day of the week, with a maximum of €16.90 per head for evenings/adults). The restaurant is situated within the Gastehaus complex adjacent to the train station and consists of booth seating and running sushi seating for probably around 60/70 people. The running sushi is a two-tier conveyor with cold sushi and sashimi on the bottom belt, and hot (chinese style) hot food on the top conveyor. The food is very good and the service is too. We have eaten there a number of times now, and we are pretty convinced it is the best sushi-sashimi location in Munich, although we have only visited five or six up to now. It is by far superior to the outlets in Pasing/Pasing Arcaden. If you live in the area, do yourself a favour and give it a try.

The shop is highly recommended. Running Sushi, all u can eat, tasty, a lot, tired, sofa, horny
