Almgaststätte Kälbelescheuer

The Almgastätte Kälbelscheuer is located at about 1000 m above the sea level in the Black Forest. You can reach the Almgaststätte either by public bus line 7310 from the direction Schopfheim or by SWEG LInie 111 from the direction Müllheim/Badenweiler. The trip goes only to the Gasthof Haldenkopf and from there you have to take a walk of about 2.5 km to reach the Almgaststätte or take your own carving path and have the opportunity to drive directly to the Almgaststätte Münster At the end of a road is the Almgaststätte. Once you have reached the Almgaststätte Kälbelescheuer, you will have a magnificent view from there towards the west in the Upper Rhine Valley and in the east the Belchen with its 1414m above sea level is majestic in front of one. The calf smoke was first mentioned as a cattle hut in 1790 and has undergone a constant transformation over the centuries until it has reached its present appearance and purpose. What immediately showed me when entering the restaurant was cleanliness in the guest rooms and also friendly reception by the service staff. The holiday house offers enough space in three rooms for arriving guests and in good weather with the appropriate temperaments, a large outdoor and sun terrace invites you to stay. The menu and the beverage card is not kept too lush, but what is offered on food and drinks has hand and foot. Regional and local dishes are clearly responsible and so besides the Schnitzel and Steak there are also Cegers with Gschwellten sebstmade Bibbeleskäse with Pellkartoffeln, Hausmacher Wurst, Wurstsalat, Münsterchäs, Schwarzwälder Schinken, Speckeier, Chäsomlett etc. And the best thing is that everything is freshly prepared and does not fall back on Convienceware. They just taste it. And a good bum after a good vasper contributes another to welfare. But also coffee and homemade cakes are offered and taste excellent. The Almgaststätte has opened daily from 11:00 20:00; Day of rest is Monday. The restaurant is also ideal for family celebrations, business celebrations and other festivals such as birthdays, baptism and weddings, and for the athlete who pays tribute to archery, there is also an archery course. For children, the area is an Eldorado. I always like to go to the celebrity halls, because here you can really be pampered and the slogan of the inn meets completely in the black: the alm with the family-run hospitality.
