Colmar is located in the Alsace area south of France, close to the Danube. My wife and I spent some time asking the city. We found a great bakery where we had lunch. I bought two bottles excellent Riesling at the local liqueur history. The last photo shows more from the main street of this small town. Colmar is a beautiful small town along the Danube. From a historical perspective. This is an area close to Germany. The point is that the city has turned to Germany or France in the many years, depending on who wins the war.
As we walked through Mulhouse's central downtown, we ran across this place and decided to buy some pastries to take with us. We had lunch reservations at 1:00 PM so planned to take these with us for our drive back to Switzerland. We selected several different flavored macarons, eclairs and mille-feuille. I'm not such a great fan of macarons but the various flavors were neat to try. Wished we bought more of the mille-feuille!! The place was packed with people lined up to purchase the pastries (oddly, we found a restaurant with same name a few streets over so hopefully this review is to the right place)
