Capt'n Chucky's Crab Cake Co, Mullica Hill

I had a wonderful experience! I was excited to see Captain Chicky open at the Farmers Market in Mullica Hill, NJ. I only wish I had more time to explore, as all the shops offer amazing food.

The seafood at this restaurant is incredible! The Shrimp Boil is truly outstanding. I especially enjoy the Smith Island and Mega Colossal Crab Cakes. Additionally, the new Crab and Shrimp Au Gratin is excellent as well.

We really love the crab cakes here, but tonight I decided to try the lobster bisque as an addition to our dinner. After warming it up and serving it in a bowl, I was disappointed to find no pieces of lobster in it. I took three full spoonfuls, and still, there were no signs of lobster. Eventually, I ended up pouring the whole container down the sink, where I found a small amount of what might have been minced lobster in the strainer. While I’ll keep coming back for the crab cakes, I can’t help but feel that I wasted $8 on a bisque that didn’t contain any lobster.
