Boathouse Bistro - Mullingar

Wonderful place! Portions are massive, we ordered fish chips and 1 portion was enough for 2 people. Their seafood chowder is also a must-try! Everything was rich, chowder was creamy, and the tartare sauce was out of this world! 10/10!

We had an incredible meal here last weekend. The location is second to none with stunning views and scenery. The food was outstanding, some of the best seafood we’ve had in Ireland. Service was excellent, very attentive. If you are in the area or even close by, don’t miss out on this great spot!

Visited the BoatHouse for the first time. The food is incredible. Seasonal and very special. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. The scenery is some of the best in the country. Highly recommend a visit.

I just simply love this place. The location is so beautiful and peaceful looking out on Kenmare Bay. The restaurant and facilities are spotless. We were there for lunch when on this s occasion and both opted for the fish tacos. They were so fresh tasting with a tangy sauce. Supplied with a salad and fries. We had two glasses of Burgundy wine which were generous. Our server was so friendly and chatty. Would highly recommend
