Service is actually laughable, they are like a Sunday league team they just can’t get going. Don’t even think about ordering a takeaway, they just make up the orders and send it out. They never apologise for getting your whole order wrong, food always arrives cold. This has happened on multiple occasions. I am a repeat offender as unfortunately my partner doesn’t care about the long wait. So this is from repeat experiences It doesn’t matter if the restaurant is empty or full house you will be an hour waiting for you mains and again no excuses or apologies offered. Waiting staff do try hard but it looks like a communication problem with the kitchen. Food 10 out of 10 (when you get it) Experience 0 out of 10 You’d be quicker cooking your own.
We called to eat before our concert at the Fleadh. They served us promptly and they could not do enough for us. The food is amazing. I love the atmosphere also.
The silver oak is a fabulous restaurant, their sit down dining experience is not to be missed. We have recently visited and sat down for a family dinner. The food was delicious and the service was very good also. We have had take-always from the Silver Oak and would also highly recommend. Thanks Naithi and team
Terrible, rude service. Arrived about 6.15pm and asked for a table for three. Restaurant was empty at the time and they seemed fine with this but not very welcoming. We ordered main courses, naans and drinks. There is no children's menu which seemed odd. The owner kept looking over at my wife during the meal making her feel really uncomfortable and then at about 7.25pm the waiter asked if we were finished but we were still eating. He then told us he needed the table in five minutes and we would need to leave. As we weren't finished we stayed and finished our food but the rude treatment ruined the whole evening, it was my wife's birthday dinner. There were still over a dozen empty tables when we left. We challenged them when we were leaving to be told he let us stay (no one told us we could stay after being told they needed the table) and we should have booked and we weren't good customers because we didn't spend enough money. It seems you'll only be treated well here if you're spending a lot. Awful experience overall. The food was ok but I've had much better Indian food.
Called in advance to check there were vegan options but once we were there no vegan starters and two vegan mains out of them all!!… then the food came and was really disappointing. Not worth the money.
