Stunning location with some fantastic views. The rooms are beautiful really clean and crisp. The outside areas are kept beautifully. Fantastic location for a wedding. The suite with the hot tub really does tick all the boxes and can sleep 6 The only negative being the bar needs to be staffed during meal times permanently, sometimes it took 10 minutes to get a drink or to be seated which is not acceptable. All in all I’d give the experience 9/10. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view
Superb hotel with a great location overlooking the sea. We visited for two nights as part of a longer sea kayaking holiday to Perranporth and The Lizard. We launched from Kynance Cove and Mullion Cove, both of which are near to the hotel. Our room was spacious with nice high ceilings, a great modern bathroom, large screen TV and plenty of storage space for stuff. We had breakfast and dinner in the hotel each day. The bar and restaurant are attractive, with great views over the sea. Every meal was tasty and there was a wide variety of dishes on offer (I'd recommend the fish and chips which comes with individual pots of homemade curry sauce, tartare sauce and mushy peas). We made good use of the hotel's outdoor heated swimming pool, which was pleasantly warm even in mid-September. Note that it closes after 30th September. Overal, a highly recommended place to stay. Nearby activities: Good base for sea kayaking around the local area including Mullion Cove and Kynance Cove. Food drinks: Great fish and chips!
