Richards Restaurant. - Muncie

The chicken is always great, hot and crispy. Another diner had the pot roast with gravy.. excellent. And 3rd person had juicy pork chops. Always friendly and quick service. Breakfast menu includes a delicious apple muffin.

I was greeted by a friendly staff member when I walked in. My server was helpful and friendly. Fried chicken was very good although it was the smallest wing that I had ever seen. The salad bar is small but has the perfect combination of items to make a tasty salad. I will be back!

I eat here every week. The prices are great and they open early enough to get to work after. The wait staff is always good to us. I like these folks and they take good care of us. 3 stars has more to do with the consistency of the food. I would never order the scrambled eggs and the fried eggs are hit and miss. Cinnamon French toast is really good and the make a good biscuits gravy. Good waffles.

Food was decent but the prices reflect the quality. Good down home atmosphere, nice and quite. Our server could have been more attentive to our needs. I had the smothered chicken and it was, like I said, decent. Next time I will sit in a different servers section though.

We were in Muncie went to my wife neurologist and decided to eat something other than the same ole places as McDonalds and Chick Filet so I googled “corned beef hash near me.” Unfortunately I couldn't find a horned hash, but we found a picturesque diner from the beaten path. The parking lot was full so it was a wonderful sign in which we stumbled to a great place! I ordered breakfast. Stirred eggs fried potatoes and onions, crispy bacon and wheat roast. My wife ordered a cheeseburger and pommes. She said it had a great taste. It was slightly crispy around the edges. The frits were hot and perfectly salted. My breakfast can be combined in 1 word! “WONDERFUL”!!! The other thing that was great was that the bill was $11. So I would call that, a score. So if we leave Cincinnati and in Muncie we will definitely be our new little diner!! Thanks RICHARDs!!
