Contribuisci feedbackWe had the Tikka masala, garlic naan, Kadai, and the rice pudding. Everything was delicious and filling. A standard dish like kadai will fill you up. I had the kadai at the medium spice level and found the spice heat no worse than a spicy chicken sandwich from Wendys. I gave 4 stars because the pricing was a little high for a middle-class family.
We've had Indian food all over and found Sitara among the best. I'd like to try the buffet one of these days.
Tonight was my first time trying Sitara since I have moved to muncie. I have heard nothing but good reviews from my peers.Unfortunately, it appears that the quality of the food I had was subpar. I don 't blame this on Sitara though. I blame the lack of interest in anything other than taco bell in this town. Over the years I 'm sure the recipes have been diluted and dumbed down for their average paying customers.. Middle aged white boomers who want something ethnic for that eclectic edge.I ordered a chaat and a mushroom curry. Both hot . Maybe that was hot for old people but it was mild for me... And I 'm expecting Indian hot! The chaat was flavorful but not enough to wow me. The curry contained canned mushrooms and was barely salted. On top of that you can tell a proper masala was not used. This was anything but authentic. It felt very heavy on my pallette and was very disappointing.I 'm hoping this was only a one off and I 'll give them another shot. I 'm not optimistic however. I 've narrowed down the crowd they are trying to please and it 's far from Indian.Oh well, muncie for ya
