Kim's Korean - Mundelein

We had no wait—upon arrival, they asked if we wanted a table grill, and we were seated right away. The service was excellent; the staff promptly inquired about our drink orders as soon as we settled in. Although we took a bit longer to decide on our food, they were patient and understanding. Our waitress was very friendly and consistently checked in on us to ensure everything was satisfactory. Now, onto the food—it was fantastic! We ordered several dishes: Spicy Rice Cakes, Calamari, Kimchi Jjigae, and Dolsot Bibimbap. The portions were much larger than what we usually see, and the flavors were more pronounced and delicious. Overall, I would definitely love to come back with friends or family. The atmosphere was welcoming, and I didn’t feel out of place at all. Great service and delicious food!

This is a fantastic restaurant! The BBQ was an excellent way to sample a variety of meats and sides, and it was my first experience with Korean BBQ. The service was incredibly friendly, making it even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend this place for its delicious food and warm atmosphere.

We tried Korean food for the first time and absolutely loved it! The owner was very welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious, and with the meal, we received complimentary traditional Korean tea. I felt so energized after dinner!

This is my favorite restaurant in Korea! The staff is always amazing and really friendly, and the food is just as great! Their meat is high quality, their sides are delicious, their soups are phenomenal etc. I've been here for years and tried several things on their menu. I love this place so much and have become a regular point that the employees recognize my partner and I! It is always a great experience around. If you want an authentic delicious food with a great atmosphere, you must come here!

Our little party of four reserved a table where you could BBQ yourself. We did the beef and pork combo, seafood pancakes, japchae, and ribs. Such a fun experience! Everything was very delicious. The service was excellent. We'll definitely be back!
