Laziza Grill - Mundelein

I noticed this place when butterfield departs because everything I found out is Pita for Mediterranean food. My daughter and I stopped and gave orders. Overall It was a great experience, from the service we returned from the 2 people on the front to the food! My daughter got the gyro (we asked the meat mix and said it's all lamb) Gyro was great, tzatziki was on point. We also ordered a combination plate (chicken and steak). Meat was well flavored and rice was a nice long grain. The ORIGINAL-Flafel sandwich was great... I would certainly come back if anything! My only complaint is this.... we ordered a chicken-shawarma sandwich and until we home (8 min) it was soggy.... thinking, the meat is boiled in a certain ingredient that leaves it moist and it affects the bread more than a Shawarma spit on like a gyro style. Falafel was good, but wished it would have all the sesame seeds in the mix.... makes a big difference. This place will give pita inn a run for her money. Your Laziza sauce is safe to taste. It was great on the salad that came with the ducks, it was great on the rice, and it was great on the chicken alwarma. I would like to make it clear that if this place a grill not a hot plate, and also offered schish kabob (real pieces of steak) not only chopped small pieces, I would give it 5 stars! My husband and I went to Laziza Grill for dinner today and Moe was very helpful and very nice. The food was amazing, my husband got the Kufta kabob plated and I got the beef steak plate we also had hummus and the best baba ghannouj I ever had. It came with Laziza sauce that was brilliant. Great place where we definitely come back.

This place is great! The food is delicious (I tried the chicken-shawarma sandwich, falafel and hummus) and the service is super friendly. Make sure you order a page of your Laziza sauce. I also like that they add spices to their fries. I definitely go back!

Great food highly recommend, I got the chicken platter , was great , love the chicken, very tasty , don't for get to ask for extra laziza sauce on top , u will love this place , I will be back , to try the other dishes,
