Gasthaus Alter Wirt - Munich

Were there under the week in the garden for dinner. Very friendly service, large portions, delicious food and fair prices. Absolutely recommended for those looking for a real Munich hostage.

We spent three nights there. Room was a little angled. But very clean and tidy. Also shower and toilet were very clean. The window to the street, because of the noise level, almost soundproof. The menu in the beer garden is very good. Huge portions. Some food is also available in small portion, which is absolutely sufficient. Such fleeting and friendly waiters like these in the beer garden are rarely experienced. But if I want to compare it with Steigenberger, I'd rather stay there. At any rate we can highly recommend the Alte Wirt in Thalkirchen. Conveniently also because of free parking and underground connection just a few steps.

Reserved for 5 nights! Room smells already at coming in muffy,bath is really dirty and under bed denying the dust curses for space!! Even the youth hostel was cleaner, I don't want to say anything about the food...will not recommend anyone!!

Was on Sunday, the 25 .11 for lunch at the ALten Wirt. Unfortunately, I had to make a very bad experience, because : the ordered calf roast was served with a very hearty, almost bitter dark beer sauce, which had apparently been heated several times in incl calf roast. The calf roast was poured over with the sauce, whereby the taste of the labberich prepared meat was lost. A sweet court!

We have been there on Thursday, 09.08.2018 at about 7 p.m. and have set ourselves to a free table. The place was quite well occupied due to the rain, but there was also enough staff present. The waiters have walked around us several times but have neither greeted us nor brought us a card. Two ladies at the neighboring table were served, but the waiter did not ask for us but ran away! After we waited about 15 minutes, we left again! Location is great and cozy but the service is not available!
