Kilian's Irish Pub - Munich

The Kilian is one of a handful of Irish pubs in Munich. Located directly on the Munich Women's Church, it is not so convenient for motorists, as there are no parking spaces in the immediate vicinity. Access by public transport is however 1a. The restaurant offers everything you know from Irish pubs in general. The service is friendly and relatively flotted. You can also get all drinks at the bar with direct payment. Many English-speaking guests can be found there. The food is appropriate for such a location. However, the pizzas are surprisingly good. Live gigs from good and bad bands take place regularly. A secret tip about this is the Rotz and Wasser band, which can be found there a few times a year. German and English rock from the finest!!

Hi all, being an Irish man well travelled this is without doubt the worst Irish bar I visited mainly due to the ignorant bad mannered bar man who has zero conscious for customer service. Also Heineken should seriously question the calibre of its beer been served here. We asked for 2 pints of Heineken and this bar man served what could be described as dishwater and said that this was Heineken!!! I tried to explain my case but NOPE he was having none of it. The toilets are poor, live music was appalling (I heard better from a screaming cat) and all benches were not clean. I would recommend to buy a carry out and sit in a disused shelter as oppose to go this 'so called Irish' bar.

One of the greatest shops ever.... were over Easter in Munich and 2x in the Kilians, the live music (rock from 70s, 80s etc. was the hammer, the service on Zack and the hut were magnificent. For the hunger between extremely tasty finger food... shame that there is no such thing in Cologne. Guys, the Kilians is worth a visit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
