Rusty Spur - Murdo

We had the most incredible meal on our way passing through Murdo! We showed up as they were closing up, but the great guys working opened the restaurant up for us. Teeno, Brandon and Xavier are the kindest people- incredible hospitality and so welcoming. Could not recommend this place more!

Very very limited menuThey present a large menu, but most of the items are crossed out. The menu of what they really offer is very limited. The staff all seems very nice, a group of guys and gals working here for the Summer from Jamaica.The some of the food was good, the fries have a nice seasoning tossed on them. The brisket hamburger was a let down, thinking the actual burger was the brisket. It was a hamburger patty with some brisket on top. The cowboy slop was chicken topped with mashed potatoes and gravey but the gravey was over powering. The setup of the restaurant is cute and fits well in the area, a popular spot for locals.

We stopped at this location on our way home from Yellowstone and we were pleasantly surprised to find this gem. Excellent service and food quality. The steak tips in the whiskey sauce was delicious. We also loved the aluminum cups the drinks were served in.

We had a wonderful dinner after a day driving. Vinny served us as well cooked our meal. He was excellent. The smoked brisket was Phenomenal. Very tasty and moist and the barbecue sauce was delicious. My husband asked for more meat and was well worth the additional cost. The grilled chicken salad was very good. The chicken was moist, the greens were fresh and the homemade dressing very good. Too bad we won’t be traveling this way again. Definitely would recommend a stop.

We were a party of 6, and wanted to like this place. First of all, many of their items were not available. We ordered items from steak to hamburgers and salad. The steak came out first, then 5 minutes later , the salad, then 5 minutes later the burgers. I bit into mine and realized it was raw hamburger. 20 minutes later I got my cooked burger.
