In town for work at the nearby Air Force base for a few weeks. Was feeling like Sushi and looked up what was in the area and randomly picked this spot. I travel 3 weeks of every month across the entire country, so I eat out a lot. Hotel restaurants have gone downhill since the pandemic. SUSHIN has amazing food. I got there right after they opened. Started with the seaweed salad Bonito flakes and gyoza. A hot cup of green tea and Ramune soda. Excellent. The main sushi platter was the lobster roll and the sunshine roll. Wow, blew me away, and I have eaten sushi all over the U.S. and Japan. I like the decorations in the restaurant as well, which makes me feel like I'm back in Okinawa. Will be back this weekend to try something else. The service was excellent.
Excellent food, even better service! Hands down best sushi in town! Authentic and tasty!
The restaurant has good service and a nice interior, making it a bit of a hidden gem. I ordered an Alaskan roll and a tempura shrimp roll, both of which were very tasty and presented beautifully. I typically order the same thing when trying a new sushi restaurant, and I must say that their version of the Alaskan roll was phenomenal and had just the right amount of spice. My only complaint is that the portion size was a bit small, with only 6 pieces in the Alaskan roll and 5 in the shrimp roll. Considering the price of 11+ dollars for each maki roll, I would have preferred to receive 6 to 8 pieces.
The best sushi in Murfreesboro can be found at this restaurant. I ordered the chef's choice plate and it was not only very generous in size but also incredibly delicious - I ended up finishing the whole thing.
