Mike's - Murlin Heights

They have a menu or buffet. I recommend the fried catfish on the buffet.

Y’all. I went to Mike’s for the first time with a coworker after a recommendation from my grandma. We absolutely loved it. I came back the next day with my husband. The buffet is possibly one of the best I’ve ever had. The food is fresh and seasoned with love. We loved everything we tried. Fried chicken, Mac and cheese, and beans were reminiscent of a homemade meal from my mom. All of it, every bite, was amazing. Our server was phenomenal, and an absolute sweetheart. Her banter made the meals all the more enjoyable. I feel like I’m pretty picky with food, we live in Houston and have plenty of options, but I’d for sure make the drive just for the food here. If that doesn’t tell you how good it is then I don’t know what will. If you’re in town for work and need a homemade meal instead of fast food, absolutely stop here.

Great place to eat and good service. Wish they were open open all week.

I don't know about their other menu items but the BBQ was pretty bland, little to no flavor, when we went. Some like this place, some don't. We went twice, but now we go down the street.
