Le Picotin - Murol

I knew since I saw a picture of this beautiful duck, I have to go there. And I wasn't disappointed. That was perhaps the best duck I've ever eaten! The frits tasted homemade and were also delicious. Make a reservation to save. Service was... good and fast.

We had an amazing lunch with our 5 years old twins. Menu for kids was perfect regarding the quantity and the quality. We had the “truffade” I think I will remember it for the rest of my life . Home made profiterole were delicious !!...If you go to the Murol castle don’t hesitate to plan a lunch or diner there you won’t be disappointed for sure...

We had a nice diner in this restaurant. The food was good, nothing spectacular. We had pizza and the Truffade Maison. That was tasty, but as to be expected from this recipe quite a calory bomb : They are very child friendly with an adjusted...menu (and nice shaped pizza and the kids also received some pencils and drawings. It also opens fairly soon to french standards which was also nice with the children.

We were locally staying at Sunelia La Ribeyre and came into Murol most days. We ate here on two occasions and enjoyed ourselves both times. On the weekend this is a very busy restaurant, but we were still served quickly and efficiently. There's plenty of...choice on the menu, and the children easily found things to eat that they enjoyed, it isn't all pizza either. Desserts were lovely and enjoyed by all! Definitely worth a visit if you're staying in the area. Don't be put off if it's really busy, this restaurant enjoys a very central location in the village and is therefore popular.

When we arrived the restaurant was already full so we choose to sit outside. The food on the menu were mostly specialities from the Auvergne and a few pizza's. The food was nice and good value for money.
