River Road Cafe - Muscle Shoals

I visited this restaurant for the first time tonight with my daughter. I ordered the Philly cheese steak on toast with cheese sauce, and it was absolutely delicious! It was a unique twist on the classic Philly cheese steak sandwich.

I went there for lunch with three friends, and we were really impressed. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. We appreciated the serene atmosphere, and we were particularly touched by their gesture of reserving a table in honor of a fallen member of our military.

What a wonderful little street café! The patty melt was absolutely fantastic and only cost $4.50. My lunch companion ordered a Philly cheesesteak, which was served on Texas toast—an unusual choice, but once I took a bite, I realized it didn't matter what the bread was; the flavor was incredible. I could have eaten it straight from the table! It was delicious. It’s a bit disappointing that they don’t serve beer, but I understand why. We'll definitely be returning!
