The Boars Belly - Muskegon

I have dined at this restaurant numerous times and decided to try the lobster mac and cheese today, paired with one of their craft beers. The service was excellent as always.

The service at this restaurant was terrible. We visited on a rainy Tuesday for lunch and were one of only two other tables in the entire restaurant. Our server acted as if it was an inconvenience.

I waited an excruciating 2 hours and 15 minutes before the host finally approached us and informed us that there was an issue in the kitchen resulting in broken glass scattered everywhere. Frustrating experience.

The atmosphere was great! I loved the woodwork. Quiet enough for a conversation on Saturday. The staff was helpful with problems and fixed things fast. The food was delicious. Can't wait to go back.

I've found this little jewel! Great food, service and prices. Huge portions. I ordered a 1/2 salad and 1/2 sandwich and had to box something. Salad was fresh and full of fillings and not only mostly bagged salad mixture.
