We did not get a reservation, but could still get a decent view of the water from our table, although it is recommended to get a reservation if you want one of the window side stands or tables. The food was delicious and abundant! Lots of taste and very fresh. Bar was good in stock and they make a great Texas ball! I can imagine that this place is probably even better in summer, but it was also great in low season. Definitely recommend!
Fantastic office party. The only hanging up was that we had asked a week before to make sure they had a certain number of bottles of champagne and they thought we were a joke. We weren't. Beautiful surroundings. Nico delivered first-class service. It is our tradition for us to have our end of the year celebration at Lake House and they always do a good job. World-class view and wonderful culinary experience/service.
This is a very nice place to dine. Food was beautiful and presented both quality and presentation top notch. The menu was reduced to bare min. Great service
For our wedding anniversary we decided to have a nice dinner outside overlooking the marina and watching the sunset. We shared the seafood trio of crabcake and other interpretations with sauces. For a second course we shared a Ceasar salad with salmon. The salmon was one of the best I ever tried. Delicious and tasteful. To make it a true surfing and turf, we have closed with a burger and also shared it. The seasoned fries were delicious. The burger was fine, but couldn't keep the salmon. We shared a crème brûlée that was not bad, but also not quite amazing. This version had a chocolate type glazing above, which usually compete with the Custard. The fruit above was fresh and delicious. All in all a wonderful dinner. Try her salmon.
Top notch food, service and ambience. Simple menu with only the freshest seafood and seasonal ingredients. Our seafood cake trio was a treat, of which the lobster and shrimp cake was the best. There was a beautiful variety of accompanying textures on the appetizer plate. Corn butter-polenta was flavorful and the remoulade and salsa tasted light and fresh. Together, everything on that plate went really well. We had fish sandwiches. The perch was fried in a light batter and had the right crunch. The blackened grouper was delicate with just the right amount of Cajun seasoning. House made chips as accompaniments were OK. Our server, Nico had excellent table side skills; he was attentive and knowledgeable. I’d be going back if I were in Muskegon again.
