Los Vaqueros - Mustang

Went here on a Saturday night. Atmosphere was nice, service was okay but the food was not good at all. Ordered Relleno with Fajita. The Relleno tasted like the inside of a freezer and was not cooked all the way through. In fact it was still cold inside with raw batter. The fajita meat wasn't bad but the onions and the one slice of bell pepper were also undercooked. The chips were all small broken bits, like from the bottom of a bag and we're stale. The salsa was kinda bland as was the cheese sauce. I complained about the relleno, which I almost never do. The waiter offered another Relleno but I declined. I left just feeling gross about what I had been served.

Well I was not impressed with this place. I ordered shrimp fajitas. What I got was a huge plate of undercooked onions and albino shrimp. The plate was not sizzling when it came out and everything was undercooked. Cheese sauce and salsa was mediocre at best. First and last time to eat at this restaurant.

I ate there a couple of years ago and can agree with many of the negative reviews, I don't know if they've changed management or what, but now they have Excellent service, very friendly staff. Food is served quickly, clean restrooms, which many say reflects the cleanliness of the kitchen. Prices are very reasonable. Food is good, not necessarily the best I've had, but with all of the positives, it is a very pleasant dining experience for the entire family.

I know its received a lot of negative reviews, but I enjoyed eating here, mostly chains in Yukon and mustang, where I live, but this is good, so it may not be the best around, but they are reasonably priced and the guac was good, and the fajitas were good, no complaints, they are always busy, so that is a good sign.

We live in Mustang, and we love Los Vaqueros! They are soooo friendly, and the service is always so fast! The food is really good, and I especially like the Mexican Tacos. Try them, you won't be sorry!
