D'angelo - Mykonos

D’angelo has some of the best vegan Italians I ever had. they have a dedicated 2-side menu (see photos of all vegan options that was fantastic. I started with the misto funghi (9,50€ , a much larger bowl of sauteed mushrooms than I had expected, accompanied by a side of brot. that has almost full me, but it was so good. finally my vegetarian pizza (15€ came with vegan cheese stabbed, and I couldn't finish the half before I stopped it. for an Italian pizza on a Greek island it was divine. service here was very friendly and they even ended the meal with a shot of Italian liqueur. give this place a try if they are looking for some good vegan options.

Okay, firstly I realise Mykonos is a seasonal island (not our first visit) however if you have gone to the trouble of making a separate vegan menu and you are still open IN season just late season, it 's still important to actually have the ingredients. We made 4 reservations here before leaving for our holiday as we were impressed with the effort they seemed to have made. However on the first attempt we were told that vegan cheese was 'finished '....all of it...thus wiping out a good portion of the menu. We asked again and they said it 's not their fault but suppliers out of stock. Such complacency never washes well with me in business. Nonetheless we tried one of the other dishes, a 'fitness pasta ' which unfortunately was rather mediocre as it lacked seasoning and care. I 'm sure at it 's best it 's worth a try, but we 'll never know.... Updated from previous review on 2021-10-16

Lovely Italian restaurant near the Mykonos windmills with a separate all vegan menu including appetizers, salads, pizzas, pastas, and a vegan brownie for dessert.

Seperate very large vegan menu, just ask on arrival for the vegan menu. Vegan mozzarella for pizza is very tasty. Lots of vegetarian options on the normal menu. Delicious cocktails. Very well priced food and drinks. Would give 5 stars if I could! Updated from previous review on 2021-09-29

I’d give it a 5-star review if I could but it’s not a vegan/vegetarian restaurant only. They have a separate vegan menu and the service was incredibly warm and hospitable. Highly recommend the vegan pasta!
