Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Myrtle Beach

As with most reviewers, if you want to welcome someone, thank you for what you want to order or a queen of everyone, it will not happen here. The white hairy guy just loves to stare at you until you say something, and the other two guys are pretty equal. The BBQ was really the same as elsewhere and the Mac-n-cheese was quite normal and bland. Was really excited to try some Carolina BBQ, but felt left down. Also the chicken tested, but Meh?. If you want to be normal or just meh, that could be for you. Quickly in and out as long as you engage people behind the stand.

2022 Still the Carolina style BBQ sauce, has to ask. Had the brisket plate, creamy spinach (a little salty) and potato casserole. Also, not previously noticed, but they offer customers a free ice cone, more like ice cream, but refreshing. The bread roll has shrunk a little, was a little dense. Children eat free on Sundays. 2021 Pretty good BBQ. Despite a chain and Texas style unlike Carolinas, Dickey beats many of the local BBQ places. consistent quality. Appropriate prices. Love the pulled pork and beef breeze. The creamy spinach, fat green beans and baked potato casseroles were delicious! The sauces in the spice area tasted somewhat sweet with different heat levels, all red. You have Carolina Senf-based sauce, but you need to ask. They recommend to add the Carolina vinegar pepper sauce to accompany the pulled pig. The baked beans were ho-hum. Freshly brewed iced tea is very refreshing. The interior is clean and the staff is friendly. They are not far from Broadway on the beach, north at 17 and much more affordable than most Broadway food. We want to return every time we are on the side of Myrtle.

I was in the mood for some ribs. Came by Dickey's because I've heard they have great ribs. They must be really good because they were out of them. That was the whole reason why I went there was to try the ribs. I understand with all the food shortage and not finding people to work, is why I didn't lower star rate. I was also disappointed there was no more sweet tea. This is the south that's what we drink with our BBQ. The staff was friendly the food was OK. The chicken wings were small and dry. I like the thick juicy wings. I'm not sure were the smoke flavor went in the beef brisket there was no flavor at all but you could tell it was smoked because of the smoke ring. The pulled pork was over cooked in my opinion. It was dry and somewhat chalk like texture. With all that being said take into consideration I did go an hour before they closed so the stuff I got could have been in warmers all day. I'm pretty sure if I would togo around lunch the food would be better and they would have ribs and sweet tea.

I asked one of the neighbours for their fave restaurant/fast food mac n cheese!!! Was really feeling it tonight for some reason Cost me about 20$ for a kids meal, a regular meal a large side of ?Chili Mac? lmao went all out here cause it was 20% off when you spend 15$ ; Uhhh idk how I felt about the mac n cheese, I guess like any mac n cheese the calories are going to be really high? A very fair 6 out of 10. But the rest of the food was really good!!! Very nice staff too, made me smile :
