Contribuisci feedbackWe are a group of friends who frequently go out for breakfast, and one of our regular spots is Eggs Up Grill located at 3630 Walton Dr, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. The food and service have always been satisfactory; however, we may need to reconsider our visits to this establishment. On the morning of July 26, 2023, I noticed that the menus were exceedingly dirty, covered in black stains and sticky residue. Normally, I wouldn't raise a fuss over minor issues, but these menus were truly off-putting. I decided to bring it to the attention of the manager, who informed me that the menus are only cleaned once a week due to concerns about damaging the printed text. This has to be one of the most absurd excuses I've ever encountered, especially in a post-COVID world. One would think that the condition of such filthy menus would raise concerns about the overall cleanliness of the restaurant, including the kitchen.
Great place to get breakfast this location is very convenient to the airport. The place was crowded but we only waited about 5 minutes for a table. The food was delicious and the service was awesome. We really liked the avocado toast and the shrimp fajita omelette.Food: 5/5
Nice local breakfast place outside of Myrtle Beach proper. Breakfast prices were much more reasonable! Great place to go, not busy when we went at 8:30am on a Monday.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking in front.
I ordered breakfast online through the restaurant 's website. Something messed up between the systems which caused the kitchen ticket to print wrong. I discover the missing items when I got home. I called the restaurant to make it right. I was not interested in driving back to the restaurant at this point, so I asked them to just refund the amount of the missing items back to my card. After being bounced around for almost 20 minutes on hold after hold, I was told I would need to contact the Olo site, which processes their online payments. I asked for a number to contact them, as the only phone number on the receipt was to the restaurant. I was again put in hold. While on hold I jumped on Google, which easily led me to the Olo customer service page, which clearly says NOT to contact them for refunds or issues with orders, but to contact the vendor. When the assistant manager returned to the call, she began to give me a number. I interrupted her to tell her what the website was saying. She began shouting at me and would not listen to what I was trying to tell her. She then hung up on me. When I called back to speak with the general manager, I was first told he was unavailable, then that he was not at the restaurant, but that "he was aware of the situation. The manager did call an hour and a half later, confirming that I was correct and that the restaurant would have to issue the refund the missing items. He began the refund, but continued to make excuses and offered an insincere apology at best. I will absolutely avoid this restaurant!! I have never been treated more disrespectfully over such a simple request.
The specialty coffees were incredible! It was a fun breakfast experience with plenty of options to choose from. Food: 5/5.
