Contribuisci feedbackThis was the worst most unprofessional restaurant I have ever been to. My waitess, Michelle, was awesome. She was sweet and kind. That is the only good thing I can say. The staff was yelling at each other across the restaurant and management did not say a word to them even after I complained. I actually had to say something to them before the lowered their voices. I will never set foot in there again!! I hope the GM reads this and makes some changes.
This no frills, hole in the wall restaurant and bar offering award winning wings and things since 1970. Location and owners have changed a number of times but their own made from scratch, secret sauces and home style cooking and German beer remain. Wings are fried in pure vegetable oil and dipped in your choice of nearly 2 dozen sauces. Sandwiches and subs, soups and salads, appetizers and burgers round out this typical bar menu. My choice this evening was the Philly Patty Melt on Texas toast with mushrooms and banana peppers. Loved the ample amount of tasty, thin layers of Philly steak, melted cheese on perfectly grilled thick slices of Texas toast. Add on was crispy, curly fries that came, like my sandwich, piping hot. Simple presentation, good flavor, quality and quantity a plus. Miranda was on her A game and made us wanting to come back.
Had the Jamaican Jerk and Texas gold boneless wings. My important other had the taste of the month pumpkin bones in wings. Everything was great. The staff was friendly.
Love fat jackets have been here for years, best wings on the beach. We like garlic parm, medium, hot teriyaki, juniors sauces. Mandy was our waitress, she was very nice and friendly great service.
A hidden little jewel in Surfside. We've been looking for a wing joint since we moved into the area a few months ago. We were not disappointed! Located in an older stripe of Mall off Hwy 17, Fat Jack's has an old school facility (think 70's family restaurant) and a fantastic waiting staff. They were all friendly and fast with a joke or recommendation (especially our waitress). We ordered the teriyaki and the garlic parmesan wing and a basket of raw pommes. Wings were pala tasty and very crispy. Rohfries had the right amount of floppy. We definitely found our new wings. Very recommended!
