Before going thr, I had enquired about the reservations if any. I was told, no reservations required. I and my wife we reached the gate by 1.00 pm. Security personnel's stopped our car and told, entry to resturant only if we have proper online reservations. And, I briefed him all I did before coming. Then they started telling, heavy crowd inside because of Dasara. U may need to wait till 3.00 pm untill ur turn comes! We agreed for that and entered. And once we Stepped insid the restaurant, there was no people, it was empty. When asked the restaurant guy that, should we wait till 3.00, he was like, no, food is ready, u can have it now itself, as there's no crowd also. I dunno why those security personnel's near the gate misguided us , actually they insisted us to go to other place. Coming to the food part, it's waste of money. I wouldn't recommend to anyone. And, after food we were leaving, while passing through, the security personnel's were doing the same thing, telling and convincing visitors to go to some other place as it's fully crowded. (I have a video recordings if it's required).
Had the opportunity to stay at the Laitha Mahal Palace hotel recently. Stay came with free breakfast. Hubby and I loved the breakfast spread each morning, however, the prices for a la carte menu was pricey for the quality of food served. I am sure the hotel can improve with the feedback shared. Stay and experiencing royalty was on the other hand, priceless!! We enjoyed every bit of our stay and loved the ambience!!
Very average buffet for a huge cost of 750+tax. Just one starter, one desert, and an exact total of 6 other dishes and they call it a buffet. Highly dissatisfied!! And since we had gone just for dinner, the staffs there won 't let us explore the palace as that 's restricted only for those staying in hotel. Now, how can I even quantify this hugely-priced dinner an experience if all we should do is to just walk to the buffet place of this beautiful palace and return without experiencing/exploring anything ?
If 0 was an option I would have given that. Its quite a big hotel . I had gone here for lunch while I went for mysore trip. They have a very big restaurant but they allow to sit inside if you are a hotel guest or opt for buffet. Else they would make you sit outside the restaurant with no fan nothing treating very badly though the restaurant was full empty. Also, they charge an entry of 400 rs . Never come here!! Waiters also are very pathetic
