The restaurant offers a beautiful view of the hills and is perfect for those looking for a fusion of South Indian cuisine. The parking was convenient, the waitstaff was friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes (which helped alleviate our concerns about the flavors), and the food was delicious. It's a great place to take a break. If we ever find ourselves back in Gudalur, we wouldn't hesitate to return to this restaurant.
On a chilly December morning, our group of six was en route to Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary. We had heard about a quaint restaurant called Sara's Kitchen on the Ooty-Mysore road near Gudalur, and decided to stop for breakfast. While we waited for our dishes, I was captivated by the misty Nilgiris hills surrounding the restaurant and enjoyed the cool breeze from the valley below. The waitstaff was quick and efficient, and the food was fresh, tasty, and reminiscent of homemade meals. It was evident that the chefs took care in selecting high-quality ingredients. The hot tea was divine, and I even purchased some to take home from the restaurant's attached shop. Overall, it was a delightful culinary experience, and we look forward to returning with friends in the future.
On a chilly December morning, our group of six travelers headed to the Mudumalai Wild Life Sanctuary near Gudalur. Along the way, we discovered a charming spot called Sara’s Kitchen Restaurant on the Ooty-Mysore Road. As we stopped for breakfast, we each placed our orders and marveled at the misty Nilgiris Hills surrounding the restaurant. The service was prompt and the food was delightful, tasting just like home-cooked meals. It was clear that the chefs took great care in selecting the finest ingredients. The hot tea was especially satisfying, prompting me to purchase some to take home. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience that we would love to repeat with our friends in the future.
