The first day we had Maru na Bhajia , which is a simple and traditional dish made with sliced potatoes dipped in a spiced chickpea flour batter and deep-fried. It 's served with a couple different types of chutneys. The taste is fantastic and they 're vegan too. On another visit a couple people in our group had samosas and pizza. The third visit we had masala dosas and uttapam , which are vegan South Indian dishes. The fresh juices are great too. The staff is very attentive and the restaurant is clean too. It may be a little hard to find, since it is not located on a street. It is connected to the M.P. Shah Hospital, and most people in Nairobi can give you directions there if you get lost. Also, there 's safe parking in the hospital parking lot. Enjoy! Updated from previous review on 2012-12-14
I went for Sunday gujarati thali and this place is very vegan friendly. I asked what was without cow milk (the beautiful thing about Indian Veg sites is that they don't have to worry about eggs) and they were friendly enough to go patiently through what I could eat and could not eat. most articles were vegan and besides a lens dish and dessert. the chapati can be made on request without ghee. the price was 995 schlägel, which is reasonable. very friendly owners and waiters!
The food was delicious and has a very authentic feeling. the owner was a nice Indian guy who tried to learn more about us. note that this small casual place in the sick house area is suitable for a fast bite, not a formal meal from eating.
A wonderful place, authentic cuisine, guided by an Indian man and his wife, he even wanted to meet us and to visit some places recommended to the staff is very helpful and friendly, the restaurant is next to the sick house, really great eating, moderate prices.
