Food is good and the environment is relaxing. Recommend to self driving visitor.
This is my favorite coffee shop in the area. Beans are roasted daily on-site. Many varieties are available for purchase, either as whole beans or ground, or as fresh brewed by the cup. Espresso and latte are also available on request. (His latte are the best I've ever had. Snacks and light meals are also available. It's in a countryside setting with a beautiful view of the Tokachi Range. Both Japanese and English are spoken.
The cafe is well lived in, warm and welcoming. The owner is clearly passionate about coffee. His house blend was a bit too mellow for my liking, so he recommended a Brazilian bean with a bit more kick and that hit the spot. I also had the honey toast, the bread was soft with the right amount of crispy but, personally, I would have preferred a bit more butter and honey. It’s unpretentious and I had a great afternoon!
This place takes coffee seriously! Lots of selections and a roaster pleasantly running. Excellent simple chicken stew with very fresh salad. Tasted a chai that was excellent. Had an Indonesian coffee by asking for a latte with a strong (tsuyoi! brew. Best coffee I have had yet in Hokkaido.
