Omg. from the moment we came to the reception with the friendly greetings then through the beautifully designed restaurant with open view, we were so pleasantly surprised. the whole staff was very good to speak. we ordered a cocktail, entres mains, with beer wine that were all delicious, generous in size delivered in perfect timing. the king prawns would have to be the best I've ever eaten was still talking about how good the steak tasted on the way home. we had a fabulous experience that celebrated our high-time schedule to try other dishes on their fabulous menu soon. we highly recommend to bring them hemingways bar grill at nambucca heads also our visitors there in future. many thanks team, great work. karen garderobe
Inaugurated for dinner every dish was amazing. Vegan options directly from the menu was very welcome!
We came here when we stayed in the motel and were before the changing possession of cubana. the restaurant doesn't really know who it is. the aromes are confused and joined together in phase, and before our escapes were cleared, the netzen left the waiter as confused as the aromes. biggest problem was that only because a dish tastes good does not mean that it can be on the same plate as another dish. And above all, because a cook likes the taste of their latest creation does not mean that it should be included. compiling a menu is a capability of the experience. they can say that hemingways has limited experience. I would simplify the menu and add some basics for people with nutritional restrictions. we cannot all eat a lot of seasoned, milk and strange combos and not suffer. the whole experience was disappointing and overpriced. the food and the bottle of wine cost more than our room.
Sadly , the food wasn 't worth the plated prices at all! with one plate having Brussels burnt beyond flavour and undercooked inedible chicken and the other soggy potato and well 'over ' done steak, both unfinished . Unfortunately the restaurant was very understaffed ,but not full capacity ,which made the wait times quite extensive ,with no warning of that either upon seating, we waited half an hour to be served ,after asking two seperate People ,twice, just to get the cups to go with the water that was given when seated ..then another 45 for cocktails , then food . Noticeably forgotten other patrons too in their general overall service to the point dessert was cancelled and they left aswell as us .
