Aloha Island Grill - Nampa

My wife and I visited this restaurant a few weeks ago, shortly after its reopening. It was great to be back. I had heard rumors about new management, and we were eager to give it another try. The staff was friendly, and the food was quite tasty. The chicken was slightly dry, but it was still enjoyable, and the macaroni was delicious! My main issue came when we went to pay; we were informed that their card reader was down. If we had known about this before being seated, we might have chosen a different place that day. Fortunately, I had some cash on me, so they didn’t completely miss out on our payment, but it's important for restaurants to inform customers about issues like this before they order. Overall, I’d rate it a 6/10 and would consider trying it again.

Thrilled to see this restaurant open again! We love both the friendly staff and the delicious food! Our town really needs quality dining options, and we’re excited to have this place up and running once more! Come support the fantastic team here and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere and great dishes!

The menu here is smaller compared to some other Hawaiian restaurants, but that just shows they focus on quality rather than quantity. This is a fantastic addition to Nampa! I ordered the teriyaki chicken, which is boneless, and it came with generous portions of rice and macaroni salad. I'm a big fan!

It make 's me Sad how bad this place is. I truly wanted it to be good. Only been there two times and both times the food was barely edible. The staff were nice and polite but they need serious training in Service and what that entails. We have triedto dine there 8 different times since Restaurant Impossible was there but they were never opened, even though their posted hourssaid they should be. We finally found them open and had a meal that was very poorly prepared and the price had doubled frombefore. We dine out regularly and are willing to pay for it but we expect good food and great service. I seriously feel sorryfor the owners because I don 't know how they are going to stay in business.

I?ve been come here for a couple years now and time after time I would come specifically come for their awesome teriyaki chicken! The new remodel looks super nice, unfortunately after the remodel their menu was made significantly smaller missinglots of their best dishes in my opinion. Customer service is still super nice and hopefully they can expand their menu againsoon!
