They replaced them with regular fries but noted that not many people seem to order the yam fries. It might be worth investigating why, since they were practically raw. The real problem lies with the recipes. While a touch of acidity can be nice, adding vinegar to practically everything ruins the dining experience. The salad with ranch was drenched in pickled onions, the burger was slathered in a vinegar-based sauce, and I even requested the pickles on the side. The house-made pickles had an unusual flavor, with hints of ginger and cinnamon, which was quite strange. Unfortunately, the kids didn’t eat their meals. Additionally, the burgers had a texture that suggested they might contain fillers in the meat. I can’t tell if they were attempting to make meatloaf burgers or if it was just an odd consistency.
The service was quick and friendly. I really appreciated how customizable the options were. My only issue was that the fries could have used a bit more time in the fryer to make them crispier.
Fantastic service! I was a little let down by the menu, though—it could definitely offer more variety. There are some great choices, but I think they could come up with more creative combinations to explore. It was a bit confusing at times as well. The French fries were a highlight! The sauces and seasonings were delightful. The three of us ordered the same type of fries and found ourselves wishing we had tried different ones. Fortunately, they brought us the other two varieties to sample, which was such a nice gesture. The hamburgers were simply good, but they had a unique twist that we appreciated! The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere was wonderful! I would definitely recommend checking this place out.
Wow! There's so much love in these burgers! The patties seem to be handmade, and the fries are definitely local. With a variety of sauces to choose from, you can find any flavor you desire!
We had a wonderful experience at Boise Fry Company. Despite being quite busy, the service was efficient. The food was delicious, and while the restaurant is named after fries, I believe the burger stole the show. Our group tried three different types of fries, but we all agreed that the classic russet fries were the best.
