The sauces, noodles, the meat, the grill. It all adds up to an amazing experience that is unparalleled. This is a situation where you always want left overs and they are always better the next day.
Mongolian had a buffet style spread of raw ingredients and you fill a small, medium, or large bowl with whatever you want plus a variety of sauces to add flavors and spice and then the chef cooks it on a huge round hot plate. If you don't like Mongolian it's truly your own fault because you choose everything that goes into your dish. It's also fun to watch them cook and many of the chefs will show off a little bit for kids. My dad and I go whenever he is in town; it's one of our favorite places. He used to be able to eat a large bowl in a single sitting but I can turn a large bowl into two or three meals and it makes excellent left overs if you don't know what to do for lunch the next day.
Went with a party of 6. Server was on top of drinks and it's a self serve restaurant, so we put together our own bowls of noodles. Vegetables were fresh and the instructions for the noodle bowls were clear and simple. Great flavors!
This place is SO good....I mean, I haven’t had good Mongolian like this in a long time...I had missed it, so finding this one was a treat! My only sadness was that they didn’t have the rice paper wraps...but they are very good. 3 bowl sizes was kind of a weird concept for me, but then you get to take it home...the one we had in my home town, that wasn’t the case..so that’s kind of cool..
Large selection of vegetables and meat, noodles, many sauces to choose from. Appropriately expensive. Absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back!!
