The Breakfast Nook - Nanaimo

From the outside, this place may not look like much, but I can confidently say it's the best breakfast you'll have in Nanaimo. The menu is small, but every dish is prepared with meticulous attention to detail. The hollandaise sauce was flawlessly made, the eggs were cooked to perfection, and the pancakes were delightful. The coffee was exceptional, and the carrots were sautéed in real butter. It truly felt like a meal made in a cozy home kitchen. The staff treated us like family, making us feel right at home rather than just serving us. I can't emphasize enough how wonderful the breakfast experience was in every aspect!

The Breakfast Nook is one of my favorite spots to share with visitors in Nanaimo. It’s a charming local business that serves delicious breakfast options. I highly recommend trying their Benny dishes; you really can't go wrong with any of the food they offer. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do!

We stopped here for breakfast during our trip to Tofino. As soon as we walked into the restaurant, the waitress welcomed us with a big smile and a warm, friendly attitude. The food was fantastic! I ordered an omelette loaded with ham, cheese, spinach, mushrooms, and tomatoes, while my partner chose the breakfast burrito, which was equally delicious. The meal was great, but the service truly enhanced our experience. The waitress with the frog tattoo is a real gem and really set the tone for our day. When we return to the island, we will definitely stop by again. P.S. The toast was amazing! Even though I didn’t originally order it, I enjoyed every bite!

I had the chance to eat here an breakfast while I could spend a day at the quality inn. a sweet little diner, who used to be an independent diner, but now since aug in this year part of the quality inn hotels. the waitress, kyla, is so beautiful, smiling, fast to serve customers and she treats all guests alone. Eating was great, two thumbs up to the chef impressive and well made. good coffee, good atmosphere and mood. they are also open 4-9pm for drinks and appies. when they come to nanaimo, make sure to stop by especially for the breakfast, they trust me.

Used to be down the street I think but now inside the hotel. Nice space, big windows. The parkade entrance doesn't see a lot of traffic from what I can tell so the patio is nice. Omelette was great, service was friendly, coffee was good. Nice little spot even if it's not quite as quaint as the old location looked to be. Will go back
