Shortiez Country Fried Chicken

Shortiez can get busy, best to call ahead if you can. The staff are very friendly and funny as when not so busy. The food is very good.

We called into Shortiez on our trip to Toowoomba, what a variety of food they have, well worth the stop if you are feeling peckish. We ordered burgers they were huge and full of fresh salad, I had steak and it was very tender, MOTH had hamburger with egg, he said the same. While we waited we watched other orders go out, if you don't have much money or you are very hungry order chips, huge servings. The staff even though they are young, they very efficient and helpful, happy and polite.

Went here in our way through Nanango. Is a good little takeaway, fairly quick service and tasty food. You can't ask for much more than that.

This is a local Nanango Cafe and the food is excellent. from Breakfast to Dinner and snacks. It is located on Henry street and at the intersection of the D'Aigular and Burnett highways and excellent for travellers. The service is quick and the staff are pleasant and friendly.
