Ate here with daughters and friends while visiting Nancy It was cold and windy, and as I was wearing shorts asked for inside seating.
The service of this small venue is open and direct. The food is honest and good without any windowdressing. The Italian chef uses his woodfire pizza oven as a tool and creats one of the best "calzone" I've ever got. The prize is great: small as well.
We were looking for a small local place for lunch and when we passed the terrific aroma coming from the door made up our minds. Very crowded downstairs so we took a table on the upper level. We do not eat a lot of hamburgers in France, although the French are infatuated with them, so we gave it a try. Really a good burger with all the trimmings and the fries were hot and crisp, Liked it so much we returned for dinner and dined on Italian that evening.
The wood-fired pizza was very good. I had pizza Bergére: Mozzarella, goat cheese, grilled nuts, and a touch of honey. Friendly, very helpful service on a quiet Sunday evening. WIsh I'd had room for dessert.
