Was nice to get to eat in a local Fijian restaurant outside the resorts. Food was of very generous portions, hospitality was fantastic, especially Sam who had all the charms of a local Fijian. We would highly recommend Tomlu’s.. God bless you Sam!
I came to Tomlu's 12 years ago and had the best fish I've ever had in my life. I returned here a few days ago expecting the same quality and was a bit disappointed. The prices have definitely gone up since I last came and quality has fallen. I ordered the fried fish; while the meat was good, I feel that the batter was not as great as last time. It lacked salt and seemed to be prepared hastily. Even so, it beats most fish places I've been to. The restaurant is a tad expensive for what it is, but I would definitely come back. There banana split is also amazing.
Fabulous food in Tomlu's. Highly recommend by a local, when he took us there and saw the entrance to this restaurant I thought no way is this going to be good. Decor was very dated, but food was tasty. We were not disappointed. Great friendly staff too. Highly recommend Tomlu's
Food and service wonderful, we went twice first time had the chow mien and it was so yummy! The second time we all got lobster and crab! Both delicious! The crab was super flavoursome and sweet! The vegetable fried rice Yummo! Will definitely be back next time I'm in Fiji
