Bistro Regent Nantes

Found this restaurant on Google map, and it didn’t let me down Please ask for the English menu, if u don’t do French As a non-French, I was worried that the staffs would discriminate me, likes it happened in Paris. However, the staffs may not good in English, they are supportive, the female staff gave me honest advice. The food is marvelous, the fries are all you can eat. The portion is well fit for the Asians, but may not for the heavy eaters. One dish already includes fries and salad

Nice place to eat correctly. 5 different dishes to choose from served with lettuce and unlimited fries, for 13.9€. However, service could be a little faster :

A simple and cheap menu for a simple and cheap evening meal. Central location provides great ambience. Very busy and seemed popular with locals as well. Staff were extremely busy but somehow managed to serve everyone promptly. If you are happy with their menu then you'll be happy there.

Been there for dinner, stayed outside. Food was cheap, but also regular. Menu of 5 choices for 12.90€. Nothing special, but well cooked. Staff lacked more practice and savoir faire (plus que nous sommes en France). On the next table, 6 persons, and when collecting the used dishes the waiter takes the dirty cutlery from each dish and joins them all on the table in front or a customer ... (never seen such a thing, would never happen in Portugal)! And after even drops a glass or water over the table and customer; says sorry, but doesn't cleans anything. Worth it only by the spot on this hot night!

Fantastic sauce totally worth the whole meal. We ate the entrecôte for two. If you are up for meat and a tasty meal , go for it????
