Contribuisci feedbackSuch a simple concept... One dish, do it well, have excellent staff and there you go success! Love love love. When I go to Bordeaux in March I will go for a visit there too.
On arrival at our hotel at lunch time there was a enormouse queue. We thought we had better take a look. At 19:00 When it opens in the evening the queue had already formed! Very strange there is no menu, there is no choice for the starter or main. A green salad with walnuts followed by steak and chips. Really well cooked, more chip as required. For pudding there is a great choice. Super, super food and service.
No words. My favorite. Environment, casual, divine sauce , amazing fries, good wine,simple efficient. I go every week when I'm in Nantes. It's just awesome
If in Nantes, not far from Place Royale, go for just an 'entrecôte' (loin).I did not know what to expect but great was the positive surprise. Kind personnel, efficient service and the food oh so marvellous! I am not a great meat lover but this restaurant offers the best entrecote I have ever eaten. The meat is cut into tiny strips and is then served in a very special way. Go and have a look. I adore the very clever system of the restaurant. Entrecôte is the only dish you can have and you can choose how it is done (well, medium, ...etc). This is one of the reasons why the service is so efficient. The dish goes with an excellent salad and the best 'pommes allumettes' i have ever had.What have I enjoyed my entrecote dinner at l'Entrecote.
It doesn't always have to be too complicated to be a good restaurant. About one dish, two different wines, several aperitifs and great selection of desserts is what this place is made of. Lots of friendly staff, lively bunch of casually dressed people, nice chaos and above all - great meat.
