Banko's Seafood - Nanticoke

Here with a friend in Mid Afternoon. Had a few designs and Bar Appetizer with a Lady Friend... Waitress was pleasant and attentive. Design beer was cold, and appetizers were spided hot. . I am a published author and only new in the area 3 months... From all the places I went from Berwick to Forty Fort, along Highway 11, this little place was not only Rustic n Nice, but had a great feeling it was with CLEAN RESTROOMS...

I just ordered a chicken dinner. I'm coming home and there's no fire? How can you close the lid and see no frits? Now my food will be cold because I have to go back to your restaurant to get rid of frying. Open your eyes and get it next time! That's ridiculous, especially when I paid for her!

Hands down the best bar / restaurant for meals and drinks in the northeast Pa.

The worst lobster I've ever eaten. Over cooked, gummy and tasteless. It should be a 1 1/2 lb live lobster. I have a total of 4 bites of the dick. Yeah, I ate it. At this price I couldn't bear it!!

Had a terrible experience with this place. If you are not a regular of this establishment you clearly have NO rights. As a woman I was made to feel very uncomfortable by two regulars sitting at the bar while walking back to my table. It became so uncomfortable that a verbal altercation broke out between these regulars and the guys I was with. It was broken up and things started to calm. We had dinner and tried to relax. This individual who started things would not stop for hours. After approaching my boyfriend who was at the juke box things turned ugly fast and this guy started a physical fight with my boyfriend and his friend. It was broken up and the bartenders said we had to pay our tab and get out. I asked if the guy who started the fight was being thrown out as well and she said yes. After paying our tab the bartender told us to take a few months off from coming back the restaurant and the other bartender proceeded to get the drunken regular a beer while he sat back down. There was another couple who was next to us who asked if I was ok before leaving, I responded no. The wife stated that the same guy made her feel uncomfortable and her and her husband had been trying to ignore him. Moral of the story if you 're not a daily regular of this establishment and you defend your wife or girlfriend from a drunken regular you will be thrown out and asked to not return for some time. I am BLOWN AWAY by how this situation was handled by the staff of Bankos and don 't feel comfortable enough as a female to EVER go back.
