I enjoy spending more on a good restaurant experience, but this wasn 't it. Better to spend 110 EUR person some place else. SERVICE is a joke. Borderline arrogant and visually fed up with their work. Which I as a customer shouldn 't bother with. Professional waiting staff urgently required. FOOD is nothing special. It 's not that it is bad, it isn 't. But it 's also definitely not on par with 1 or 2 Michelin star restaurants – where the pricing positions them. It 's just neither creative nor exquisite enough. The AMBIENT is what it is. Some people will enjoy the liveliness of other tourists walking 1m away from them eating some won 't. It is in an extremely busy area. DESSERTS saved the experience, but just slightly though. THEY ARE ENORMOUS. Especially seal the deal , which is just beyond understanding – why anyone would even consider serving it without a disclaimer it can feed at least 4 people.
Nothing special nor food neither the restaurant , and the service not that great either , the waiter was a bit rude so we have a word to the manager and he replace him. The drink were late but they offer a new round on the house.was nice of the manager. Over priced for the place and decor and food.
You’d space out at some point after eating such great food! Started with scallops cooked in a delectable sauce, octopus was well-cooked, and don’t even get me started with the lobster pasta with generous potions amazing sauce. The highlight was the banoffee pie dessert generously served on our plates. SERVICE WAS AMAZING with attentive staff. Everything was smooth sailing despite the hectic time. I don’t know about the bad reviews but three of our local friends plus previous visitors highly recommend this place and so do I. I’m sad about these reviews trying to bring down this honestly good place in such a lovingly humble town.
We were mortified by the bad reviews but still wanted to give it a try since it’s one of the oldest restaurants in Paros and such a popular landmark. We couldn’t find a reservation per telephone but were suggested to stop by just in case there is an opening. Luckily there was an empty 2 person table for us last Tuesday around 22:30. We loved the location and vibe, the loud greek music and lively environment. We are greeks and felt like this place represents a lot on what we have in mind about entertainment and dining. We ordered the lobster and crayfish pasta which were both delicious and our very kind waitress helped us pick a bottle of wine. As for the prices, yes they are high but judging by the spectacular location and entertaining environment together with the hype of this place in general, we found them reasonable. You choose this restaurant if you want the whole experience, otherwise there are plenty affordable small taverns around the island with equally good food.
Great ambiance and an incredibly beautiful location. I had the crayfish orzo and it was actually one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. Service was ok. They kept pouring water for us even though we didn’t order it. While I very much so enjoyed the food that I ordered, the friends who I went with thought there could be significant room for improvement given the price of the food. If you’re looking for a Mykonos vibe in Paros, this is your spot. If you’re looking for authentic Greek food at a reasonable price, this is not for you.
