Buttercream Bakery Diner - Napa

We had never been to Buttercream before, but decided to give it a try based on all the reviews. The donuts were delicious. We purchased several cupcakes to sample, as we were planning to order a cake soon. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the dry and flavorless cupcakes. The frosting didn't taste like it had any butter in it and had a greasy texture. Additionally, when we tried to ask for assistance, the young woman who helped us spoke so softly that it was difficult to hear her. We won't be returning.

The food was decent but unfortunately arrived at the table cold. The waitress had a negative attitude. However, the woman who took our drink order was very helpful and brought us a deliciously creamy hot cocoa. Philly does not recommend the waffles and bacon.

This restaurant is a enjoyable place to dine. We sat at the counter and our server was very friendly. Although the cheese and egg omelet I ordered was a bit thin, it was still tasty. The rest of the food was delicious. They also sell lovely baked goods separately, although we didn't try any, they looked scrumptious. Many locals frequent this establishment.

If they have to give up an order, by their v/m, they only do this via the phone. the only problem is they no longer answer the phone or call voice mails (left 3 of them) so if they have to give up an order, they have to physically enter it. buttercream is a part of my 50 years and I'm super cheated not to support them in good sense anymore. After I tried to get some items that I've been ordering for ostern for weeks, it was super obvious that they only don't give 2 shits about customer service (or loyalty). constructive critique: at least they change their v/m to know the people to place their commands personally.

This is a delicious slice of Napa. The treats were good, could have been a little fresher but tasteful. The service was great! Very attentive and patient. We went to try and have breakfast but it was way to busy so we settled for donuts and coffee from the bakery. This place is worth a shot and I’d go back when I the area.
