Elaine Bell Catering - Napa

WOW! Elaine Bell truly impressed with both their food AND their staff at a wedding we attended at B.R. Cohn Winery in Glen Ellen, CA. Wonderful passed hors d'oeuvres of Mac Cheese balls, lamb bites on rosemary picks, peach mozzarella and basil skewers, tuna tartare in tiny 'tortilla chip' ? cones. And the fresh oyster bar was wonderful! Dinner was a choice of Sea Bass, hanger steak, or vegetarian ravioli. I didn't get to taste the hanger steak; however, the sea bass and ravioli were wonderful and beautifully plated. The staff was great! Extremely attentive, yet not intrusive. Friendly, yet professional. One young woman who was clearing tables offered to get three of us each another glass of wine at the bar, saving us a trip. It all went so smoothly. This staff worked hard on a very hot afternoon temperatures in the mid 90's . Their attentiveness and intuitiveness helped make this wedding an elegant affair. I wish I had photos of the hors d'oeuvres and entrées. You will have to take my word for it that they were divine! Amazing food and staff!

My husband and I got married in CA on 8 7 2021 and could not have been more thankful that we had chosen Elaine Bell as our caterer! Cara was so incredibly helpful during the planning process and the day of team went above and beyond our expectations! Our biggest concerns were the taste of the food, wait time for both food and drinks, and kindness of the staff. They were incredible in all categories. I had so many guests talk about how delicious the apps were during cocktail hour as well as the dinner entrees! Also, there was never a time where glasses were empty. The staff's kindness was unmatched! We had last minute mask mandates be put in place before our wedding. The entire staff was courteous and followed these rules and made our guests feel extremely safe! Overall we had the best experience with Elaine Bell and we would highly highly recommend them for any catering event!

Although I didn’t have the opportunity to sample a large portion of the food during my visit, I can confidently say that I heard wonderful feedback from our guests, which is ultimately what matters. We had a few special requests that Elaine Bell handled with enthusiasm, including a wide variety of desserts, and everything I was able to try was fantastic. Beyond the delicious food, the staff was incredibly attentive throughout the evening, ensuring that we always had something to eat and drink when we needed it. They managed everything seamlessly and left the place spotless upon their departure. It’s clear that they are highly experienced in what they do. These professionals truly understand their craft, and the quality of both their food and service reflects that.

As we exited our ceremony, Elaine Bell was there to greet us with our signature cocktails. A member of their team had a plate of our passed hors d'oeuvres set aside just for us, and she stayed nearby during the cocktail hour, refreshing our drinks and offering us bites of food while making sure we stayed hydrated—something I truly appreciated! Every hors d'oeuvre was delicious, and guests are still raving about the truffle mac and cheese balls! The bartenders were efficient, ensuring there were no long lines, and they kept everyone satisfied. As for the dinner, I can honestly say it was the best wedding meal I’ve ever had. The fish was cooked to perfection, moist and flavorful, which is often a challenge with catered events. At the end of the night, they surprised us with a picnic cooler filled with snacks from our menu as well as other picnic goodies and a bottle of champagne. They are truly the best team!

I know employees who work there that are anti vax. And not for health reasons. They wear these flimsy masks and bartend the huge Wlaine Bell events serving drinks to hundreds of people. SUPER SPREADER ALERT. If ya want to have your big fancy smancy wedding, and get and pass covid everywhere hire Elaine Bell. No vaccine requirements absolutely no special masking and you will be served with people who don't believe you can get it.
