Sift Dessert - Napa

I decided to stop by this restaurant after being intrigued by its charming exterior and hearing glowing reviews from friends. The interior was spotless, and they had a variety of delectable treats on display including cookies, cupcakes, macarons, and cruffles. I was unfamiliar with cruffles, which are a combination of cookie dough and chocolate truffle, but found them to be a delightful two-bite snack. I also tried a champagne cupcake that was wonderfully moist. I definitely plan on returning to sample more treats, especially the cruffles.

We tried 2 of their cupcakes the berry cheesecake and the Samoa along with a couple of their broken macarons. Oh my so good. Lots of flavor in all. Not overly sweet. The cupcakes were moist and not dry at all. Their truffle cake things. Skip those not good. Just an odd texture inside. We went back to get another for the road and managed to hit on their 50th anniversary and they gave us a bunch free

So I need to recognize how super an employee at Sift was tonight. I was shopping at the grocery store in the center and wanted a famous Sift cookie. I pulled up and didn't notice that it was 7:05pm and an employee was locking up. I said oh you guys are closing, the employee Carla said yes we close at 7:00pm, what are you looking for. I replied, I just want a single cookie, she replied, come on in and I will get one for you. She was so kind and it's real hard these days to find employees that act and treat their customers like this. It's a lost art and Sift needs to recognize her and keep her. If any other store/restaurant/retail managers see this post, please, train your employees to be more like Carla. We need this back again in Napa. Thank you Carla!!

The cupcakes at this restaurant are the best I have ever tasted. I have only been to their San Francisco location, not their Napa one, but I wish they were also in the South Bay. This place is one of the top spots for desserts, and their cupcakes are truly exceptional. I am amazed by how delicious they are. Each bite is heavenly. If you enjoy cupcakes, you must visit this place.

Cute and clean little dessert shop. Delicious cupcakes, scrumptious macarons and other yummy treats. I was only going to get macarons, but the cupcakes spoke to me. Ha. I chose lemon drop cupcake and it wasn't lemony at all. It was a perfect Friday treat and I chose not to share with my child. Hehehe. It's okay, he devoured a birthday cake macaron and my hubby enjoyed a pistachio macaron. Yum!
